Privacy
Your data in Track Body.
An explanation of where your measurements are stored, how optional features use them and what happens when you contact support.
Draft for review · 4 October 2026
This policy is being prepared for the app’s first release. The developer’s postal contact details and support-message retention period still need to be finalized before this is used as the App Store privacy policy.

Measurements and notes
Track Body processes the measurements you enter, the date and time of each check-in, your notes and your custom measurement definitions to provide logging, history and trends. These records are stored on your device. The app does not send these records to a developer-operated server, and the developer does not receive access to them through the app.
Private iCloud storage
When iCloud is available and the app’s cloud storage initializes successfully, Track Body syncs saved app records through a private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. This can include your check-ins, notes and custom measurement definitions. If cloud storage cannot be initialized, the app uses local storage.
Apple provides the iCloud service under its own terms and privacy practices. The app developer does not receive your Apple Account password. You can manage iCloud storage and app access in your device’s Apple Account settings. See Apple’s privacy policy.
Apple Health
With your permission, Track Body reads supported Apple Health measurements to display trends. Those queried Health measurements are held in memory for the charts; the app does not copy them into its CloudKit database.
If you enable Save to Health and grant write permission, the app writes compatible check-in measurements to Apple Health. The app uses Health data to provide its measurement and trend features, not for advertising or marketing. You can review or revoke individual permissions in the Health app. Revoking permission does not delete existing records.
Apple Watch
If you use the companion Watch app, measurements entered on the Watch are stored there while waiting to be sent to the paired iPhone. The phone sends measurement settings and recent readings to the Watch. This communication uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. Check-ins received on the phone become app records and follow the device-storage and iCloud behavior described above.
Preferences and reminders
The app stores preferences needed for features such as reminders and Apple Health settings on the device. Reminders are scheduled as local notifications. The app does not use a developer-operated push-notification service.
Exports and sharing
When you choose Export CSV, the app creates a file on your device containing your saved measurements, timestamps and notes. You decide where to save or share it using the system share sheet. Any service or person you share the file with receives the information in that file.
Retention and deletion
Check-ins remain in the app’s storage until you delete them. You can edit a check-in or delete it from History. Where iCloud sync is working, changes can propagate to the private cloud storage and other connected devices.
Deleting a check-in from Track Body does not delete measurements already saved to Apple Health. Manage those separately in the Health app. Exported files and copies you have shared also need to be managed separately. Removing the app does not by itself guarantee that iCloud records or device backups have been deleted; use Apple’s storage controls for those copies.
Advertising and analytics
Track Body does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. It does not sell measurement data. Apple may process App Store, iCloud, Health and device diagnostics information according to your settings and its own privacy policy.
When you contact support
If you email support, the developer receives your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to include. This information is used to answer your question, investigate the issue and follow up. Please avoid sending personal health information unless it is necessary and you choose to share it. Email providers process messages to deliver and store them.
For EEA and UK users, support correspondence is processed to respond to your request and provide support, on the basis of contract-related steps where applicable or legitimate interests in handling enquiries. The final retention period for support messages will be stated here before release.

Your choices and rights
You can control your app records, exports, notification permissions and Apple Health permissions on your devices. For personal information the developer holds through support correspondence, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict its use, object to processing, or receive a portable copy. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Contact support@rblch.com to make a request.
The developer cannot directly access or delete your device’s Health records or private iCloud app records on your behalf. Those are managed through your devices and Apple’s controls.
Updates
This page will be updated if the app’s data handling changes. The final policy will show its effective date.
